Audiovisual Translation
Section outline
-
Audiovisual translation or AVT refers to the transfer of verbal components from one language to another, as they are found in audiovisual products or works. AVT aims to support internationalization, allowing content to be consumed by people in multiple countries. As the term suggests, AVT is designed to be heard and seen (audio and visual). The course is divided into a series of learning chapters that allow you to acquire skills in using translation software for media projects related to your discipline, such as designing videos for a target audience. It also allows you to acquire the software and hardware knowledge essential for the design of audio visual translation systems.
